Abstract: Disability studies looks at how disability is viewed in society and advocates for societal changes to create a more inclusive and equal environment for disabled individuals. It challenges traditional medical models of disability and focuses on accessibility, empowerment, and the rights of disabled people. The field seeks to promote social justice and create a more equitable society by centering the perspectives and experiences of disabled individuals.This research delves into film “Peranbu” by Ram and The famous book “The Reason I Jumb” by Naoki Higashidha. "Peranbu” is a touching film that follows a father daughter relationship, with the daughter having cerebral palsy. The movie explores themes of love, acceptance, and resilience as the father learns to care for his disabled child and confront his own challenges. Through heartfelt storytelling and powerful performances.“Peranbu” sheds light on the experiences of individuals with disabilities, advocating for empathy, understanding, and unconditional love to overcome obstacles. The film challenges stereotypes and promotes compassion and inclusivity towards the differently abled. And "The Reason I Jump" is a book written by Naoki Higashida, a nonverbal autistic teenager from Japan. Through questions and answers, Naoki provides a rare insight into the inner world of individuals with autism, explaining behaviors, sensory overload, and communication difficulties. His writing is honest and moving, offering a powerful perspective on autism and emphasizing the importance of understanding and acceptance. This book invites readers to see the world through the eyes of someone with autism, promoting empathy and appreciation for their unique strengths and perspectives
